A Green Hills native, Daniel started Living TN as a third-generation real estate professional. A natural entrepreneur and outside of the box thinker, Daniel was CEO and co-owner of his first company while still in college at the University of Tennessee, where he concentrated in finance. Upon returning to Nashville, he divested his shares of the popular Moose Creek Pepper Sauce Company and decided to pursue a career in mortgage real estate.



Mentored by his father with over 35 years of experience, Dan Askew, Daniel worked for Bank of America and Regions Bank as a mortgage loan originator helping several hundred families achieve the dream of homeownership. Daniel eventually moved out of banking to residential real estate sales so he could spend more time with his clients and pursue other entrepreneurial endeavors.



In his first year as a realtor, Daniel won awards as Weichert’s National Rookie of the Year, The Andrews Group Rookie of the Year and became an Executive Club Member for exceeding $2 million in sales. Daniel Askew joined Keller Williams in 2012 and thrived under Gary Keller’s Millionaire Real Estate Agent philosophies. Soon, Daniel decided to leverage his intricate knowledge of financing options, his personal real estate success, and many local and national relationships to found his own Keller Williams (KW) Expansion Team. This individually owned LLC operates as its own company, while leveraging the backbone of the largest Real Estate Company in the world, making it both nimble and incredibly strong.



Daniel married his entrepreneurial and leadership skills with his passion for serving clients, when he founded Living TN, a Keller Williams real estate expansion team which has grew to 20+ employees and served over 500 families ($130M in sales) in its first 5 years which quickly ranked them as a top 20 sales team in the state of Tennessee and he is ranked in the top .02% of agents nationwide.


A self-taught, tech geek, Daniel is an innovator in the real estate space generating over 90,000 daily website users on LiveTN.com and has grown his company’s online presence to over 25,000 followers across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. Living TN grew rapidly, from $13M to $19M and then to $38M in the first 3.5 years. As a result of his team’s success and the contribution to Buyer Circle, one of his key tech partnerships, Daniel was brought on as SVP of Sales in 2016 as an expert in developing IDX, CRM, dialer and marketing software for Realtors.


In June 2017, Daniel became the Tennessee Regional Director Five Doors Network which was the number one KW expansion real estate team in the country and 19th agency nationwide at that time. Daniel was promoted to Regional Director and then Southeast Regional Director. He opened 5 offices in 18 months with over 60 real estate agent members and $1.9M in revenue. Daniel played an integral role alongside the founders and led the company to the Inc 500 list as the #113 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies in America in 2018 with over $10,000,000.00 in revenue and the Inc 5000 in 2019.



Daniel is a true visionary and innovator with dreams of expanding his businesses not only nationally, but globally. Through his many relationships, creative ventures, and constant curious mind, he leverages his network of advisors to keep his businesses on the forefront of real estate, communication and lifestyle brands.



Daniel lives in Forest Hills with his wife (Rachel), their 2 year old (Charlie), 1 year old (Peyton) and their two pups (Smoky and Delilah). They can be found any given weekend hiking at Percy Warner Park, Boating on Center Hill Lake, gardening or traveling around the country.
